We are Christoph - a dad with petrol in his veins and a passionate planner - and Rebecca - a mom with a passion for interior design and an eye for detail and not really a camper.
And here we are at the beginning of our story.
After we had already had a long glamping tour with a camper through beautiful New Zealand, our expectations regarding general traveling in a camper were already very high.
So that was the beginning, in the middle of our trip through Germany - in a van. We drove to campsites every now and then and as we crept past the big white giants at walking pace, you could tell what the interior looked like without looking inside, and with pretty good accuracy. Similar upholstery, light wood look of the cupboards and camping equipment, in camping style of course.
If you take a look inside our four walls, you can quickly see that we love the mix. Everything doesn't have to come from one brand or even be in one style. In addition to pieces of furniture from a Swedish furniture store, we also have things created by our carpenter, as well as Chinese and African influences from our stays abroad throughout the apartment.
So what we’re aiming for is: camping doesn’t have to look like camping.
And that is exactly what the vanlife scene captures so creatively in social media.
