A great place for a camping weekend! We discovered this campsite via the Landvergnügen campsite guide. This means that you have to be a member of Landvergnügen in advance to be able to access the campsites. For more information about Landvergnügen, please take a look here .
The Leo Langer winery is a small family business and is surrounded by vines and fruit trees.
We were amazed at how many spaces there were for motorhomes or caravans, certainly around 10.
After a walk through the beautiful old town and a tour through the vineyards, we took part in the extensive and free wine tasting.
It was worth it, we went home with 24 more bottles.
It's worth looking for wine where it grows and meeting the people who select and process it. The winemakers were incredibly friendly and we would have happily stayed an extra hour or two, listening to them and trying out the different wines.
Really highly recommended.
There were no special activities for children. A box of Lego was kindly provided for our son to try out. But there was no playground or adventure to discover - but that was perfectly fine with us.
We will definitely go to the region again.
