We discovered this pitch tip via Landvergnügen and it is ideal for families with children. And of course all those who like to look at alpacas.
The farm offers around 4 pitches for mobile homes or caravans. Since they are spread out over the farm, we had a lot of privacy. Luckily, our pitch neighbor didn't come, so we were able to unpack our camping chairs and camping tables and spread out comfortably in our outdoor lounge. Right next to our pitch was the entrance for the tractors into the barn. An incredibly exciting experience for children, of course.
Lots of play opportunities for children
The farm offers a great play area with lots of play options for the children:
Slides, swings, digging up the sandpit with a children's excavator, driving a children's tractor, feeding the chickens, watching alpacas and much more. It feels like you stop at every large wooden gate and marvel at the many large tractors and machines.
For those who are interested, the farm also offers alpaca hikes.
We then discovered a beautiful bathing lake nearby. The lake has access to the water from many sides, so that the crowds can spread out well and it is not too crowded in one place. There are several small swimming islands in the middle of the bathing lake, which gives the lake even more charm.
Conclusion about the pitch tip: Alpaka Ranch
For us, this was a great stopover because our actual destination was Salzburg. It is only 100km from Munich, just before the Austrian border. We would therefore definitely recommend this parking spot tip as a stopover for families with children.
