Camping tip in Germany: Bavarian Forest

One of our absolute camping tip favorites is this campsite in the Bavarian Forest - the Adventure Camp Schnitzmühle .

There is something for everyone here, because in addition to the campsites for mobile homes and caravans, there are also beautiful rooms and tiny house accommodations with lots of heart and soul charm. Whether it is for families with children, sports junkies, team outings or simply a nice weekend with friends, you will find a large selection of adventure activities here.

With your motorhome or caravan you can park right by the water - unpack your paddle and go for a canoe or SUP ride on the river.
100 meters behind the pavilion is a bathing lake with bio-filtered water, several jetties leading into the water and a small sandy beach for digging. Four-legged friends are also very welcome here.
For the adventurous spirit, the Adventure Camp Schnitzmühle offers various activities such as raft building, climbing, hunting, survival training or wild plant hikes in the forest.

For all campers who are not self-sufficient or families who are vacationing here with their tent, the jungle house has shower rooms with lots of comfort and attention to detail. There are also wash boxes, wash basins, toilets, a baby bath with changing station, ironing facilities, a disabled cabin, biological toilet disposal, laundry, ski and drying room and scullery.

Colorful lights, campfires, lanterns and candles are provided throughout the site to ensure a cozy camping romance. But even here, despite the Bongo Bar (closed in autumn and winter), which ensures relaxed holiday moments, certain camping rules apply:

No more music played after 10 p.m.
From midnight onwards, only have very quiet “campfire conversations”.

And if you just don't want to do anything, you can also relax in the spa area. From the outdoor whirlpool to one of the two saunas and back again.

The Schnitzmühlen Adventure Camp simply offers a wide range of activities for the whole family or friends.
